Metal Braces

The standard silver braces (traditional braces) are the oldest style of brace. Today’s metal brackets are made of stainless steel and are smaller and more comfortable. Elastic ties surround each bracket to hold the archwire in the bracket slot. Kids like them because the elastic ties come in an array of colors. Our office uses standard silver braces for Phase I and limited treatments only.
